Beta Maxx Death is the slasher horror cartridge in the Beta Maxx series of games. It is meant to conjure up Friday Night at 11pm Horror Movie atmosphere, while not forgetting the somewhat silly nature of the genre. It is one of the lightest of the Beta Maxx games, but packs a bloody punch within the pages.
The big changes from this game compared to the original Beta Maxx game (Beta Maxx X) is its use of Panic and Resolve. As your characters experience the outlandish danger of a horror movie, they build up Panic which can cause them to behave unpredictably and if bad enough could cause them to flee off not to be seen again.
